\"Mobile phone space is very exciting and full of opportunities. There has been a remarkable increase in the number of mobile users who access internet from their mobile phone. Technology is changing with each passing day, and so are the requirements and expectations of our users. To meet these expectations, we have developed a mobile version of Clickindia.com providing the same quality of information to internet users on a mobile phone instrument as on any computer\", says Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, co-founder, Clickindia.com.

The new service from Clickindia.com which was launched last month enables users to view over 85000 ads and listings from the site. They can use the mobile platform to post ads or explore special deals/offers and search for local listings of sellers and service providers from the business directory while eating out, traveling or even jogging.

Wap.clickindia.com is merely 2kb in size which enables fast downloading on mobile phone. The basic idea behind the launch of this service is to deliver local information to users in the nick of time. Clickindia.com neighbourhood classifieds on mobile phone can be accessed from wap.clickindia.com.

The website which was launched in April 2007 has already crossed over 8 million monthly impressions mark and growing at a healthy rate. \"We are satisfied with the growth of clickindia.com and looking forward to keeping the momentum in coming months. Our near term target is crossing 10 million monthly impressions figure and move into the next phase of development. We are planning to launch slew of new features in the mobile space\", says Pankaj, an IIM Indore alumnus who earlier worked with Citigroup before starting clickindia.com in 2007.
